FROM LIFE CARE CENTER EAST

Dear Gentle People,
Thank you for listening to our plea for help a couple weekends ago at Mass and responding in such a positive way with monetary and material donations. It is heartwarming to know there are people like you in our community, willing to help us, as we work on behalf of mothers (and sometimes fathers) and their children who are struggling to survive. Together, we really CAN make a difference in families' lives.
I think it's a privilege to work at Life-Care-Center East. I feel God's presence very powerfully every single time I walk into the center. It is a great comfort to me because sometimes the work is overwhelmingly difficult. However, I know that His hand guides us always there, as we minister to young women and their children during difficult times of their lives. Our clients come to us with many needs--emotional, financial, physical and material. Our mission begins with trying to impart God's love by welcoming all those who enter our door and listening to them with a nonjudgmental ear. Sometimes, the center is the only place in our clients' lives where they can feel safe and where they can find someone who really cares about them. We do everything we can to support them in their decision to carry out their pregnancies and to raise healthy, happy, babies. This is why we need and appreciate all of the help you give us, through volunteerism, material and financial donations, and most important of all, prayers.
